و َأنا لَمْ أكُنْ أعرِفُهُ، لَكِنِّي جِئْتُ أُعَمِّدُ فِي الماءِ لِكَيْ يَصِيْرَ هُوَ مَعْرُوفاً لِبَنِي إسْرائِيلَ.»
