و َهَذِهِ هِيَ شَهادَةُ يُوحَنّا عِنْدَما أرْسَلَ يَهُودُ مَدِيْنَةِ القُدْسِ كَهَنَةً وَلاوِيِّيْنَ لِيَسْألُوهُ: «مَنْ أنتَ؟»

This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent to him priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”
