و َعِندَما عَلِمَ أنَّهُ تَحتَ نِطاقِ سُلطَةِ هِيرُودُسَ، أرسَلَهُ إلَى هِيرُودُسَ الَّذي كانَ فِي مَدينَةِ القُدسِ فِي ذَلِكَ الوَقتِ.
