و َكانَ كِبارُ الكَهَنَةِ وَمُعَلِّمُو الشَّرِيعَةِ يَبحَثُونَ عَنْ طَرِيقَةٍ غَيرِ عَلَنِيَّةٍ لِقَتلِ يَسُوعَ، لِأنَّهُمْ كانُوا يَخشَونَ النّاسَ. يَهُوذا يَتَآمَرُ عَلَى يَسُوع

and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
