ﻟﻮﻗﺎ 18:14 ~ Luke 18:14

أ قُولُ لَكُمْ، إنَّ جامِعَ الضَّرائِبِ هَذا، قَدْ عادَ إلَى بَيتِهِ مُبَرَّراً أمامَ اللهِ، أمّا الفِرِّيسِيُّ فَذَهَبَ كَما أتَىْ. لِأنَّ كُلَّ مَنْ يَرفَعُ نَفسَهُ يُذَلُّ، وَكُلُّ مَنْ يَتَواضَعُ يُرفَعُ.» مَنْ سَيَدخُلُ مَلَكُوتَ الله؟

I tell you, this man went down to his home justified (forgiven and made upright and in right standing with God), rather than the other man; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.
