« كُلُّ مَنْ يُطَلِّقُ زَوجَتَهُ وَيَتَزَوَّجُ بِأُخرَى يَرتَكِبُ الزِّنَى. وَمَنْ يَتَزَوَّجُ بامرَأةٍ طَلَّقَها زَوجُها يَرتَكِبُ الزِّنَى أيضاً.» لِعازَرُ وَالغَنِيّ

Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
