ف َأنكَرَ بُطرُسُ ذَلِكَ ثانِيَةً. وَبَعْدَ وَقتٍ قَصِيرٍ، قالَ الواقِفُونَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى لِبُطرُسَ: «بِالتَّأكِيدِ أنتَ واحِدٌ مِنْهُمْ، لِأنَّكَ جَلِيلِيٌّ.»
