و َسَمِعَ كِبارُ الكَهَنَةِ وَمُعَلِّمُو الشَّرِيعَةِ بِما حَدَثَ، فَبَدَأوا يَبحَثُونَ عَنْ طَرِيقَةٍ يَقتُلُونَهُ بِها. لَكِنَّهُمْ كانُوا يَخافُونَ مِنْهُ لأنَّ تَعلِيمَهُ كانَ يُدهِشُ الجَمِيعَ.

And the chief priests and the scribes heard, and they sought how they might destroy him; for they feared him, because all the crowd were astonished at his doctrine.
