ف َاذهَبُوا وَافْهَمُوا ما يَعنِيهِ الكِتابُ عِندَما يَقُولُ: ‹أُريدُ رَحمَةً لِلنّاسِ، لا ذَبائِحَ حَيوانِيَّةً.› أنا لَمْ آتِ لِكَي أدعُوَ الصّالِحِينَ، لَكِنِّي جِئتُ لِأدعُوَ الخُطاةَ.» سُؤالٌ حَولَ الصّوم

But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
