ل ِذَلِكَ أُخبِرُكُمْ بِأنِّي سَأُرسِلُ إلَيكُمْ أنبِياءَ وَحُكَماءَ وَمُعَلِّمِينَ. وَسَتَقتُلُونَ بَعضَهُمْ، وَسَتَصلِبُونَ بَعضَهُمْ، وَسَتَجلِدُونَ آخَرِينَ فِي مَجامِعِكُمْ، وَتُطارِدُونَهُمْ مِنْ مَدِينَةٍ إلَى أُخْرَى.

Perciò, ecco io vi mando dei profeti, dei savi e degli scribi; di loro ne ucciderete e crocifiggerete alcuni, altri ne flagellerete nelle vostre sinagoghe e li perseguiterete di città in città,
