ل َكِنَّ أُمَّها كانَتْ قَدْ لَقَّنَتْها ما تَطلُبُ، فَقالَتْ: «أعطِنِي رَأسَ يُوحَنّا المَعْمَدانِ هُنا عَلَى طَبَقٍ.»

So she, having been prompted by her mother, said, “Give me John the Baptist’s head here on a platter.”
