و َكانَ هُناكَ رَجُلٌ يَدُهُ مَشلُولَةٌ. فَسَألَ النّاسُ يَسُوعَ: «هَلْ تَسمَحُ الشَّرِيعَةُ بِشِفاءِ يَدِ هَذا الرَّجُلِ يَومَ السَّبْتِ؟» سَألُوهُ ذَلِكَ، لِكَي يَكُونَ لَدَيهِمْ دَلِيلٌ يَشتَكُونَ بِهِ عَلَيهِ.

and, behold, there was a man who had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
