و َلَكِنَّ يُوسُفَ رَجُلَها كانَ صالِحاً، وَلَمْ يَشَأْ أنْ يَكشِفَ أمْرَها، فَقَرَّرَ أنْ يَترُكَها بِهُدُوءٍ.

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
