و َكانَ بَنو إسْرائِيلَ يُقيمونَ فِي شِطِّيمَ. فِي ذَلِكَ الوَقتِ، بَدَأ رِجالُ إسْرائِيلَ يَزنُونَ مَعَ نِساءٍ مُوآبِيّاتٍ.
