ل َكِنَّ إسْرائِيلَ قَتَلُوهُ وَأخَذُوا أرْضَهُ مِنْ نَهرِ أرنُونَ إلَى نَهرِ يَبُّوقَ، وَإلَى حُدُودِ أرْضِ العَمُّونِيِّينَ، لأنَّ حُدُودَ العَمُّونِيِّينَ كانَتْ قَوِيَّةً.

Then Israel killed Sihon with the sword. They took his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as the people of Ammon. For Jazer was the side of the land of the Ammonites.
