أ نَّ آباءَنا نَزَلُوا إلَى مِصرَ، وَأنَّنا عِشنا هُناكَ لِفَترَةٍ طَوِيلَةٍ، وَأنَّ المِصرِيِّينَ كانُوا قُساةً عَلَينا وَعَلَى آبائِنا.

Our fathers went down to Egypt, and we lived in Egypt a long time. The Egyptians were bad in the way they acted toward us.
