« كَلِّمْ بَني إسْرائِيلَ، وَخُذْ مِنهُمُ اثْنَتَي عَشْرَةَ عَصاً: عَصاً واحِدَةً لِكُلِّ قَبيلَةٍ مِنْ جَمِيعِ رُؤَساءِ القَبائِلِ. وَاكتُبِ اسْمَ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ عَلَى عَصاهُ.
