و َيَشُوعُ بْنُ نُونَ وَكالِبُ بْنُ يَفُنَّةَ، اللَّذانِ كانا مِمَّنْ اسْتَكْشَفَوا الأرْضَ، مَزَّقا ثِيابَهُما حُزناً مِنْ مَوقِفِ الشَّعبِ.
