ث ُمَّ يَشُقُّ الكاهِنُ الطَّيرَ مِنْ بَينِ جَناحَيهِ مِنْ دُونِ أنْ يَفصِلَ شَطرَيهِ. ثُمَّ يُحرِقُهُ عَلَى المَذبَحِ عَلَى الخَشَبِ الَّذِي عَلَى النّارِ. إنَّهُ ذَبيحَةٌ صاعِدَةٌ مُعَدَّةٌ بِالنّارِ كَرائِحَةٍ يُسَرُّ بِها اللهُ.
and he shall split it open at its wings, shall not divide asunder; and the priest shall burn it on the altar on the wood that is on the fire: it is a burnt-offering, an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour.
