و َقالَ لَهُ اللهُ: «ادعُ اسْمَهُ يَزْرَعِيلَ، لأنَّنِي بَعدَ فَترَةٍ قَصِيرَةٍ سَأُعاقِبُ عائِلَةَ ياهُو عَلَى الدَّمِ المَسفُوكِ مِنْ يَزْرَعِيلَ، وَسَأُبِيدُ بَيتَ إسْرائِيلَ.

And the Lord said to Hosea, “Name him Jezreel, because I will soon punish the people of Jehu for the killing at Jezreel. And I will put an end to the ruling power of the people of Israel.
