ث ُمَّ اختارَ مَلِكُ بابِلَ واحِداً مِنَ النَّسلِ المَلَكِيِّ وَقَطَعَ مَعَهُ عَهداً. وَجَعَلَهُ يُقْسِمُ عَلَى الوَلاءِ. وَأخَذَ الرِّجالَ المُقتَدِرِينَ ذَوِي النُّفُوذِ مِنَ الأرْضِ.
