ﻣﺮﺍﺛﻲ ﺇﺭﻣﻴﺎ 4:9 ~ Lamentations 4:9

ا لَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي الحَربِ كانُوا أفضَلَ حالاً مِنَ الَّذِينَ ماتُوا جُوعاً. الَّذِينَ اختَرَقَتْهُمُ السُّيُوفُ كانُوا أفضَلَ حالاً مِنَ الَّذِينَ ماتُوا مَحرُومِينَ مِنْ ثِمارِ الحُقُولِ.

Better have been the pierced of a sword Than the pierced of famine, For these flow away, pierced through, Without the increase of the field.
