و َأنا قُلْتُ: «إنَّما هُمْ مَساكِينُ، إنَّهُمْ حَمقَى، لأنَّهُمْ لا يَعرِفُونَ ما أمَرَ بِهِ اللهُ ، وَلا يَعرِفُونَ تَعلِيمَ إلَهِهِمْ.

Then I said, Surely these are only the poor; they are foolish and have no understanding, for they know not the way of the Lord, the judgment (the just and righteous law) of their God.
