ﺃﺭﻣﻴﺎء 42:20 ~ Jeremiah 42:20

ب ِأنَّكُمْ جَعَلْتُمْ نُفُوسَكُمْ تَضِلُّ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ. لأنَّكُمْ أرسَلْتُمُونِي إلَى إلَهِكُمْ وَقُلْتُمْ: ‹صَلِّ لأجلِنا إلَى إلَهِنا ، وَأخبِرْنا بِكُلِّ ما يَقُولُهُ إلَهُكَ لَكَ، وَنَحنُ سَنَعمَلُهُ.›

You have fooled yourselves. You sent me to the Lord your God, saying, ‘Pray to the Lord our God for us. Whatever the Lord our God says, tell us and we will do it.’
