ﺃﺭﻣﻴﺎء 38:2 ~ Jeremiah 38:2

« هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ: ‹الَّذِي يَبقَى فِي هَذِهِ المَدِينَةِ سَيَمُوتُ فِي المَعرَكَةِ أوْ مِنَ الجُوعِ أوِ الوَباءِ، وَأمّا الَّذِي يَخرُجُ إلَى البابِلِيِّينَ فَسَيَحيا، إذْ سَتَكُونُ حَياتُهُ لَهُ كَغَنِيمَةٍ، وَسَيَحيا.

Thus says the Lord: He who remains in this city shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, but he who goes out to the Chaldeans shall live; for he shall have his life as his only booty, and he shall live.
