ﺃﺷﻌﻴﺎء 58:3 ~ Isaiah 58:3

ي َقُولُونَ: «لِماذا صُمنا، فَلَمْ تَلتَفِتْ إلَى صَومَنا؟ لِماذا ذَلَّلْنا أنفُسَنا، فَلَمْ تَنتَبِهْ؟» فَقالَ اللهُ: «إنَّكُمْ تَعمَلُونَ فِي يَومِ صَومِكُمْ ما يَحلُو لَكُمْ، وَتَقسُونَ عَلَى العامِلِينَ لَدَيكُمْ.

`Why have we fasted, and Thou hast not seen? We have afflicted our soul, and Thou knowest not.' Lo, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, And all your labours ye exact.
