ل ا بُدَّ أنَّكَ سَمِعْتَ بِما فَعَلَهُ مُلُوكُ أشُّورَ بِكُلِّ البُلْدانِ الأُخْرَى، وَكَيفَ أنَّهُمْ دَمَّرُوها تَدمِيراً! فَكَيفَ تَتَوَهَّمُ أنَّكَ سَتَنْجُو؟

Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shalt thou be delivered?
