ل أنَّ هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ قُدُّوسُ إسْرائِيلَ: «بِالطَّمَأنِينَةِ وَالرُّجُوعِ إلَيَّ تَخلُصُونَ، بِالهُدُوءِ وَالثِّقَةِ بِي تُصبِحُونَ أقوِياءَ.» وَلَكِنَّكُمْ رَفَضْتُمْ

Ko te kupu hoki tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa, a te Mea Tapu o Iharaira, Ma te tahuri mai, ma te humarie ka ora ai koutou; kei te ata noho, kei te whakawhirinaki he kaha mo koutou; heoi kihai koutou i pai.
