ت َوَقَّفوا عَنْ إحْضارِ تَقدِماتٍ باطِلَةً. أنا أكرَهُ البَخُورَ وَاوائِلَ الشُّهُورِ وَالسُّبُوتَ وَالأعْيادَ. لا أطيقُ الاجْتِماعاتِ الدِّينِيَّةَ مَعَ الاثْمِ.

Bring no more vain offerings. Incense is an abomination to me; new moons, Sabbaths, and convocations: I can’t bear with evil assemblies.
