ف َكَرِهْتُ الحَياةَ. أحْزَنَنِي جَميعُ ما عَمِلَهُ النّاسُ فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيا، لأنَّهُ زائِلٌ وَكَمُطارَدَةِ الرِّيحِ.

And I have hated life, for sad to me the work that hath been done under the sun, for the whole vanity and vexation of spirit.
