أ دِّبِ ابنَكَ لأنَّ هُناكَ أمَلاً فِي أنْ يَتَغَيَّرَ، وَإلّا فَإنَّكَ تُشارِكُ فِي تَدْمِيرِهِ.

Chasten thy son, seeing there is hope; but set not thy soul upon killing him.
