ا لرَّحِيمُ وَاللَّطِيفُ يَنفَعُ نَفسَهُ، أمّا الرَّجُلُ القاسِي فَيُؤْذِي نَفسَهُ.

The merciful, kind, and generous man benefits himself, but he who is cruel and callous brings on himself retribution.
