و َكانَ قَدْ تَلِفَ الكِتّانُ وَالشَّعِيرُ. لِأنَّ الكِتّانَ كانَ قَدِ اخْضَرَّ، وَالشَّعِيرَ أنبَتَ سَنابِلَهُ.
The flax and the barley were smitten and ruined, for the barley was in the ear and the flax in bloom.
