و َلَكِنَّ زَوجَتَهُ صَفُّورَةَ أخَذَتْ قِطْعَةَ صُوّانٍ حادَّةً وَخَتَنَتِ ابْنَها. ثُمَّ أخَذَتْ غُلفَةَ ابْنِها وَمَسَّتْ بِها قَدَمَيَّ مُوسَى، وَقالَتْ لَهُ: «أنْتَ زَوْجُ دَمٍ لِيَ!»

Then Zipporah took a sharp flint and cut off the foreskin of her son and cast it at his feet, saying, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.
