ف َمَدَّ مُوسَى يَدَهُ نَحْوَ السَّماءِ، فَحلَّ ظَلامٌ شَدِيدٌ عَلَى أرْضِ مِصرَ لِمُدَّةِ ثَلاثَةِ أيّامٍ،

So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and for three days a thick darkness was all over the land of Egypt.
