ف َنَزَلَ غَضَبُ اللهِ عَلَيهِمْ، وَقَتَلَ حَتَّى أوفَرَهُمْ صِحَّةً، وَأذَلَّ حَتَّى خِيرَةَ جُنُودِ إسْرائِيلَ.

the wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.
