ع ِندَما قُلْتُ لَهُ: ‹هَذا حَدُّكَ فَلا تَتَجاوَزْهُ، وَإلَى هُنا حَدُّ أمواجِكَ المُعتَزَّةِ؟›

and said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
