ف َكانُوا يَنْتَظِرُونَنِي كَما يَنْتَظِرُونَ المَطَرَ، وَيَفتَحُونَ أفواهَهُمْ كَما للِمَطَرِ المُتَأخِّرِ.

And they waited for me as for the rain, and they opened their mouths wide as for the spring rain.
