ل ِذَلِكَ يُسَمِّي اليَهُودُ هَذَينِ اليَومَينِ بِالفُورِيمِ نِسبَةً إلَى كَلِمَةِ «فُورَ» التِي تَعنِي «قُرعَة.» وَبِسَبَبِ رِسالَةِ مُرْدَخايَ، وَبِسَبَبِ ما وَاجَهَهُ اليَهُودُ، وَما مَرُّوا بِهِ.
