ف َأجابَتِ المَلِكَةُ أسْتِيرُ: «إنْ رَضِيتَ أيُّها المَلِكُ وَاستَحسَنتَ الأمرَ، فَإنَّ أُمنِيَتِي أنْ تَترُكَنِي أعِيشُ، وَطِلبَتِي أنْ تَترُكَ شَعبِي يَعِيشُ.
