و َقَدْ سُبِيَ مُردَخايُ مِنَ القُدْسِ مَعَ الَّذينَ أُسِروا مَعَ يَكُنيا مَلِكِ يَهُوذا، الذِي سَباهُ نَبُوخَذْناصَّرُ مَلِكُ بابِلَ.

He had been taken from Jerusalem with the people who had been taken away with King Jeconiah of Judah by Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon.
