و َكانَ هُناكَ رَجُلٌ يَهُودِّيٌّ فِي العاصِمَةِ شُوشَنَ اسْمُهُ مُردَخايُ. وَهُوَ ابْنُ يائِيرَ بْنِ شَمْعَى بْنِ قَيْسٍ، مِنْ قَبِيلَةِ بَنْيامِيْنَ.
