و َفِي الوَقتِ الَّذِي كَانَتْ تُجمَعُ فِيهِ الفَتَياتُ ثانِيَةً، كانَ مُرْدَخايَ جالِساً عِنْدَ بَوّابَةِ المَلِكِ كَعادَتِهِ.
