ﻧﺤﻤﻴﺎ 7:64 ~ Nehemiah 7:64

ب َحَثَ هَؤُلاءِ فِي السِّجِلّاتِ الرَّسْمِيَّةِ عَنْ أصلِهِمْ وَنَسَبِهِمْ، فَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ ذِكْرٌ فِيها، فَتَمَّ اسْتِثْناؤُهُمْ مِنْ خِدْمَةِ الكَهَنَةِ.

These searched for their genealogical records, but couldn’t find them. Therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
