و َقالَ آخَرُونَ: «لَقَدْ قُمْنا بِرَهْنِ حُقُولِنا وَكُرُومِنا وَبُيُوتِنا لِنَستَدِينَ مالاً لِشِراءِ قَمْحٍ أثناءَ المَجاعَةِ.»

And there are who are saying, `Our fields, and our vineyards, and our houses, we are pledging, and we receive corn for the famine.'
