ق الُوا: «نَعِدُ بِأنْ لا نُزَوِّجَ بَناتَنا لِلشُّعُوبِ الأُخرَى فِي الأرْضِ، وَألّا نُزَوِّجَ أبناءَنا مِنْ بَناتِهِمْ.

and that we would not give our daughters unto the peoples of the land nor take their daughters for our sons.
