ف َقامَ شَعبُ البَلَدِ وَقَتَلُوا كُلَّ الَّذِينَ تَآمَرُوا عَلَى آمُونَ. ثُمَّ نَصَّبُوا ابْنَهُ يُوشِيّا مَلِكاً بَعْدَهُ.
