ﺃﺧﺒﺎﺭ ﺍﻷﻳﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻥ 30:17 ~ 2 Chronicles 30:17

و َكانَ هُناكَ كَثِيرُونَ مِنَ الشَّعبِ لَمْ يَتَطَهَّرُوا استِعداداً لِلخدمَة المُقَدَّسَةِ. فَلَمْ يُسمَحْ لَهُمْ بِذَبْحِ خِرافِ الفِصحِ. فَتَوَلَّى الَّلاوِيُّونَ مَسؤُوليَّةَ ذَبحِ خِرافِ الفِصحِ عَنْ كُلّ شَخصٍ لَمْ يَتَطَهَّرْ، لِكَي تُقَدَّمَ الخِرافَ مَقَدَّسَةً للهِ.

For there were many in the congregation that were not hallowed; therefore the Levites had the charge of the slaughtering of the passover-lambs for every one not clean, to hallow them unto Jehovah.
