ﺃﺧﺒﺎﺭ ﺍﻷﻳﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻥ 29:34 ~ 2 Chronicles 29:34

إ لّا أنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ هُناكَ عَدَدٌ كافٍ مِنَ الكَهَنَةِ لِسَلخِ جِلدِ كُلِّ الحَيواناتِ وَتَقطيعها مِنْ أجلِ تَقدِيمِها ذَبائحَ صاعِدَةً، فَأعانَهُمْ أقرِباؤُهُمُ الَّلاوِيُّونَ إلَى أنْ اكتَمَلَ العَمَلُ وَإلَى أنْ أعَدَّ الكَهَنَةُ أنفُسَهُمْ لِلخِدمَةِ المُقَدَّسَةِ. وَكانَ الَّلاوِيُّونَ أكثَرَ إخلاصاً مِنَ الكَهَنَةِ فِي إعدادِ أنفُسِهمْ لِلخِدمَةِ.

Only the priests were too few, and they could not flay all the burnt-offerings; therefore their brethren the Levites helped them, until the work was ended, and until the priests had hallowed themselves; for the Levites were more upright in heart to hallow themselves than the priests.
