و َدَفَعَ العَمُّونِيُّونَ الجزيَةَ لِعُزِّيّا، فَصارَ اسْمُهُ مَعرُوفاً حَتَّى حُدُودِ مِصرَ بفَضلِ قُوَّتِهِ الكَبِيرَةِ.
